Compiling your Questions

Please enter up to 10 "Must Have" and 10 "Nice to Have" (you may choose how many, with a minimum of at least one "Must Have" and one "Nice Have") questions in the spaces provided. All the questions must be able to be answered with a Yes or No answer, Yes being the correct answer and No being the incorrect answer. This ensures standard, unbiased answers and allows for the creation of a ranking system.

"Must Have" questions: These should include questions relating to areas / skills / qualifications which applicants must have (are essential) in order to be able to do the job. An applicant who answers No to any of the "Must Have" questions will be negated. Those who answer Yes to ALL of the "Must Have" questions will continue with the response i.e. registration, filling out a resume etc.

Example of "Must Have" question - should it be essential that the respondent be able to programme in C++: Do you have the skills to programme in C++? Yes No

"Nice to Have" questions: These should include questions relating to areas / skills / qualifications which are not essential to the position but which may make one respondent stronger for the position then another. The respondents will be allocated a score according to the number of correct (Yes) answers in this section and will be ranked according to this score.

Example of "Nice to Have" question - If the essential skill is programming ability in C++ but you would prefer at least three years of experience in this area the "Nice to Have" question could be: Do you have at least three years of experience in C++ programming ? Yes No
The "Must Have" and "Nice to Have" questions need not be related as they are in the examples.

Tip: In order to ensure compliance with the labour law it is always wise to ask questions which are related to the inherent needs of the job.
